Join AkzoNobel, a global leader in paint and coatings, and become a part of our high-performing Data Science team within the Center of Excellence for Integrated Business Planning (CoE IBP). We're looking for experienced data scientists who will help us optimize our planning cycle and end-to-end supply chain through robust data infrastructure and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior data scientist, you will:

• Identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to establish a robust data infrastructure.
• Undertake data cleansing, standardization, and exploration.
• Implement statistical models, machine learning, predictive models, optimization, simulation models, and ad hoc analysis in a big data environment.
• Participate in A/B Testing and follow DevOps/ Agile WoW.
  

We're seeking candidates with:

• A master's degree in operations research, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or any quantitative field.
• Experience implementing statistical models, machine learning, predictive models, and analysis in a big data environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Scala, Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Excellent communication skills, a team player mentality, and a curious mind.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Alteryx.
• Experience with A/B testing.
• Experience in supply chain.
• Familiarity with Agile.
