International Marketing Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for the surf & lifestyle brand O'Neill asInternational Marketing coordinatorin the Netherlands (Warmond - nearby Leiden).

The Role

The International Marketing coordinator supports O'Neill's global go-to-market process by ensuring all marketing calendars and assets are provided to regional licensees and marketing activations are executed locally according to brand strategy and guidelines. You work as part of the Global Trademark and European Marketing teams to manage the ongoing aspects of O'Neill International marketing operations. The role consists of 75% Global, 25% European duties.

Key accountabilities

Global Marketing Management - Communication & Integration

• Support Americas & Asia Marketing operations with a focus on digital
• Manage digital marketing plans, coordinate implementation of digital strategy and best practices by licensees, & actively engage with licensee's digital media channels when needed
• Provide intermediary support between O'Neill headquarters and regional businesses outside Europe.
• Be updated & aligned with key marketing & product hubs in US and Australia, and Global HQ in Europe
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, & sales leaders to support marketing operations.
• Share best digital & retail strategies, activations, & tactics with licensees
• Support trademark office by documenting and supplying marketing materials
• Manage internal marketing newsletter to highlight O'Neill global business & marketing

Global Marketing - Brand Assets

• Manage and distributing campaign assets to regional marketing managers from regional licensees, product licensees, and distributors worldwide
• Help create and manage marketing calendars and provide campaign updates to regional marketing managers and local partners worldwide
• Support digital and social media marketing by managing content acquisition and calendar
• Manage media library; acquire and organize digital, print, and retail assets from O'Neill marketing hubs US, and Australia and Global HQ in Europe

Europe Marketing - Campaign and Content Activations

• Support marketing coordination between Global and European marketing teams
• Support planning and activation of global campaigns and content including brand, global product, and team content
• Stay updated on European marketing calendars, activities, and best practices to best support Europe and International licensees
  

The ideal candidate

• Educational level: Bachelor or similar in Marketing
• At least 2-3 years experience in an equivalent role (similar industry would be an advantage).
• You are a positive team player with a no-nonsense mentality who can perform under pressure.
• You have a keen interest in surf, snow sports and outdoor lifestyle.
• Capable of working in a dynamic international environment with tight deadlines, across timezones.
• You are results oriented, driven in taking own initiative, hands-on and can navigate an agile environment.
• You have project management experience, with excelletnt organisational skills
• You can navigate the digital & social media platforms (proficient with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and have an understanding of performance marketing.
• Some knowledge of Retail Sales/Marketing (experience would be an advantage).
• Strong verbal communication (English speaking) - Spanish a plus
